Okay, well, I didn't call it. Still wondering whether I should have. She didn't pick it up REAL high, but when I pointed it out to my partner behind the bases between innings, he said he could see it, so it was plenty high enough to be noticeable. This pitcher pitched the last two innings of the first game when I was behind the plate. I didn't catch it then, and neither did my partner. When I did see it, she was in the second inning of the second game. I wanted to confer with my partner before making a decision on whether to call it, especially since it wasn't a crow hop or leap. So by the time he saw it and we discussed it, we were in the fourth inning of the second game. I didn't think I should call it then, since she had been pitching for six innings.

Glen, I was able to find the NCAA rule book on line, and browsed through it for an hour or two Sunday morning. All went smoothly.
