Back in the fall at the 18 Gold, I saw a Schutt mask displayed.
It was really lightweight and two sets of pads.
I passed on buying it then thinking I would be able to find one easily later, but I haven't been able to

Does anyone know what the model number of their new mask is?
Or where to get one?

scott,

I bought one in January at the Texas Regional Clinic.

I got mine from Russell & Laura Pemberton...

http://www.ump-attire.com

I really like it. I don't think the Schutt is listed on
his site, but he sells them. he is located in Magnolia, Tx.
281-356.9544. He has very good prices on all equipment.

DNTXUMP on this very board sells Schutt equipment, and also has some excellent prices. Maybe he will come by here and see this.

scottk_61,

I haven't seen that mask. What makes it nice? I'm ready to scrap my +POS.

That mask was really lightweight and comfortable.
I saw one guy take two shots dead on during that tournament, he said the mask took it really well.

I tried it and took a shot to the mask, the mask barely transferred any energy unlike a heavier one.

I also liked the two sets of pads they had with it.

I was the one at the 18 gold and all the ncaa regional selling the masks

You can contact me @ (800) 619-6778 ask for Larry White

Russ Pemberton has been selling them for us in the Houston Area, but is now out of stock. If you want to buy from him, call him and we can ship through Russ.

PS thanks for all the great things you have been saying about the mask.

Also, for all of you who were @ the 18 gold and saw the prototype of the new chest protector with the cool gel pockets, it should be available around 7/1

There were 11 of us from my chapter at the Houston clinc.
5 of us purchased the new Schutt's mask from Russ. None
have regretted it. Very comfortable and durable. Really
will be noticeable during the 18U AFA Nationals since it
is played in July and August in Texas. Although even a
feather gets heavy in the exhausting heat.

But does it have the NOCSAE approval stamp?
