Normally I flip an old silver dollar, but at a big SP tourney a few years ago I used a coin "token" I found in the parking lot when I arrived at the fields.

Apparently the usual application of this coin was to activate certain electronic audiovisual devices at a local entertainment establishment by the name of "Video Thrills."

The obverse of the coin portrayed a smiling young woman who looked like the Venus de Milo, except that she had arms. The reverse reminded one of the old Coppertone sun tan lotion billboard.

Every game in the tournament required a coin flip beforehand, and this unique novelty proved quite a hit with the players and managers. Remarkably, when making his call, every single person used the same slang terminology for "heads" and "tails."
