Was the parent a coach? Or with these youngsters today, was the parent a 16-U player?

If not, unless you have some local league rules, then you have what we in project management call (that's my day job) "perceived authority". That's when people obey you because they think you have the right to tell them what to do. In that case, just rattle off a rule number and say, "According to Rule 102, Subsection 13r, a parent that is ejected must leave the bleacher area for the remainder of the day."

Hey, if your shoes are polished, your pants are press and your hat is creased, I'd believe you.
