OK, re-read all, and understand question better. I was assuming the indication was ball became dead. mcrowder is correct, twas me "OFF BASE" (pun intended). Another rule reference is POE 33 (LBR) F which says a base on balls is treated as a batted ball. The difference between BB & SB is the Look Back Rule.
