Told SamC I had another story to tell from my tournament and here it is:
Runner on 2B, Batter hits a gapper between F7 and F8, which is retrieved by F8. F2 is already set up and I mean set up at the plate, completely blocking any chance of entry. I am watching to see when and where runner and ball are. Runner well ahead of arriving ball, but not where to go because F2 has wrapped the plate up. I signal DDB, and "WHAM", slammed into by the runner who was attempting to get around to back side of the plate. Yeppers, I was just a little to close to the play. Mr. Sparks is laughing his head off. He did agree, I had made the right call and that I had it covered like a blanket.
