Dont believe there is because you can use FP bats in SP and vice versa. Performance and/or durability suffers when you do so though.

Old days you could just look at the bats and say that is a FP or SP bat just by looking at the shape but not so much anymore.

Some of the model numbers help identify FP or SP designed bats.
