No. Nor of any other instances where any player on the roster can be a courtesy runner, or where somebody already in the line-up can run for somebody else...but they wrote new rules to cover those!

You could look at USA 8.9.B.

What does adult slow pitch have to do with junior Olympic pool play?

Anyway...my point was that they DID add new rules about courtesy runners in the book for JO pool play, along with a score of other special new rules, but they didn't add anything to address an "unreported line-up compression".

Your comment: "any other instances where any player on the roster can be a courtesy runner" did not specify between/among sanctions/type of game.

Adult slow pitch amended their CR rule 1 or 2 years ago. JO pool play has been fiddled with the past couple of years. Still kinda messy.

Anyone else care to comment on this, especially the May 4th and the June 24th posts? :)
