Plate shoe question

I have an in between size of 13.5 needed. Neither NB or 3n2 make that size so ordered a 14. Has anyone had this issue and what would you recommend to keep foot from sliding back and forth?

Thanks

I wear 2 pair of socks, wear some ankle cotton socks and then my black socks over that.

Thanks. I normally wear support socks and one pair. The length difference is 5/16". Hopefully the extra pair will suffice. Tired of having bruised toenail beds.

I have always double-socked my plate shoes; particularly helpful to avoid chafing or blisters from sweating or sliding.

Another good filler is the Dr. Scholls (or similar) foot pads; they add both comfort and odor protection. If you have arch issues, or Plantar fasciitis, upgrade to the orthotic versions.

Got the NB MU460BK3 in a size 14. Wow, I've got big feet. They are awful "shiny". Almost patent leather. Anyone else have these? "Too" shiny?

I don't have them but I have seen them on some of my partners. All of my NB plate shoes have been super glossy right out of the box. Unless you work 100% of your games on turf fields, you'll have the joy of cleaning and polishing shoes soon enough.

Yes. Looks plastic.

One says "leather upper", the other "synthetic upper". Thinking both are synthetic.

Go to you tube and search for "How to tie a runners loop". Your foot will never slid again if done properly.
