8 Days and Counting

My season starts in 8 days. Got some real good games this fall. How about you?

HS started back on 11th. TN is Women only in fall.

1st Youth was 2 U16 Boys matches on the 8th. Unfortunately 2 Send offs for VC.

1st D1 college match was Yesterday. Both teams ran out of gas in the ~90 degree heat.

Still hoping and waiting for a "good game".

Did they take water breaks?

Our HS season starts on 9/1. The kids don't even start school until 8/31. Your area must use the quarter system for HS.

Funny you should ask. Both coaches came to me together before the game and requested to play three 30 minute periods with 5 minute water/coaching breaks. I don't know how much the players drank but I drank ~80 oz during each of the breaks.

WOW! You drank five of those large size Gatorade/Powerade bottles (32 oz) in two five-minute periods that were separated by only a half and hour.

Are you the type of camel which has one hump or two?

I couldn't get that much fluid into my body if it was injected.

I was just thinking that you might have a future in those competitive eating contests when you decide to stop refereeing.

Opps, ~40 oz at each break, 1 standard size G2, then refilled with water. So no Hump but man do I sweat.

If you had consumed that much gatorade in one game you could have thrown your eloctrolyets out of balance. I know I guy who did that once and ended up in the hospital for a few days. If I drank that much of anything during a game they'd have to finish it without me because I'd have been in the bathroom the rest of the game peeing.

Thanks, was wondering why it was no longer working at the previous address. Strange they didn't leave a message.
