Both boys and girls play in the fall for high school. Tryouts for Spring (US Youth) are usually still done in the snow. Lightening is about all games get stopped for. Ahhh memories of tournaments done in May when our pregame is done while sweeping snow off the lines with our feet.

Maybe I'm just being slow tonight, but how does dividing boys and girls seasons make more opportunities for games

? When it is the girls High school season, aren't the boys playing club?
