ASA...our UIC interpretation here is it is going to be a strike most, if not all of the time, in other words a very generous strike zone.

Only way to see that swipe tag is to be looking from third towards second or vice versa. Can't do that in two umpire system. Had you had a third umpire the third base umpire could have seen it :D

Just curious...what happened after the ball became dead. Did catcher appeal again? If so, wouldn't runs score and third out be called, assuming BR never "retouched" 1st base and continued on to 2nd?

Never insinuited we don't make alot of judgement calls in a game. But this is the only one I can think of where we have to judge a player's ability.

Change the wording as much as you want...my strike zone has been the same for the last 10 years and isn't going to change now (whether it is a good zone or not depends on which team you are rooting...

In my opinion you have a run and nothing changes. A pitch has been thrown since the runner was "accidentally" on second so the coach has no appeal options available.
