I'm going to get back to reffing (AYSO - u10 to start) after about 20 yrs away. Back then, my favorite book/resource was Fair or Foul (DR the author). Any recs for particularly good books (or ones...

why the three point shot
I don't think that was the intent when the shot was created. I think the intent was to force defenses further out to the permiter to open up the court and help the game be more fluid. But I agree...

Ball going over the backboard is out (except fan shaped....)
But what defines going "ovver"? If one imagines a pole sticking out from the edge of the back board, is it (1) if ALL of the ball...
