Just wanted ask what LL rules state as to runners leaving bases to soon.
I ump in the south where we play under Dixie Youth rules. Was presented a situation where a runner left early with the batter...

Question: under NFHS rules-can a coach wear a jacket over his uniform when weather is not cold-ie: its about 85 degrees here this time of the year

The way it was told to me was the ball went up the sleeve of the 3rd baseman & he couldn't find it so the SS called time and the Coach came out & get the ball out of the back of the 3rd baseman's...

Dead ball-OBR rules

Situation-R1 at first-batter hits shot to right center wall-R1 going to 3rd-throw comes in to 3rd who boots catch but somehow ball gets caught in R1s shirt who is still on ground after slid-dead ball...
