We Paint the ice night

Tomorrow night, the Stockton Thunder take on the San Francisco Bulls on We Paint the Ice night in Stockton.

We Paint the Ice Night with the Stockton Thunder

What are your thoughts on this? Are the additional ice markings going to affect the game?

What you have done differently with this event (besides not doing it)?

Look up any European league games on youtube for examples of excessive ice painting....they seem to get along just fine.

What about the painting near the face-off spots?

According to all the rules I've read, the required rink markings must be unobstructed.

In European hockey, the faceoff circles become giant ads...including at the World Championships.
