Hello everyone,
My name is Pat. I am an official for Basketball & Baseball. I was approached by a certian high school of my sons and they would like me to set up a floor hockey league. I loved playing hockey in high school (in P.E. class) and I agreed. I downloaded the NCAA Ice Hockey rules & the Floor Hockey rules but i need some help.

Is there any websites that help teach how to officiate Hockey? (Pref. Floor Hockey)

Unfortunatly, the web is light on instructional sites (especially floor hockey).

The NCAA ice book has a great section on positioning which may help you out somewhat.

The IIHF makes available its rulebook, casebook and procedures manual (www.iihf.com) - that might be the most complete set of instructional material on the web in terms of rules, interpretations and procedural stuff (how to call a penalty, positioning during the game, etc.)

Other than that, hockeyrefs.com is probably the most well-known hockey refs site on the web, but its light on instructional material.
