Female Football Officials

Watching the Tulsu/Colo St game, I saw a female official on the side (looked like LJ or HL). First I've ever seen. Anyone know more? I don't suppose she is the first.

I was under the impression there was one picked up in the NFL. And she previously worked D1.

There was a lady replacement official in the NFL last year, and I'm aware of at least 2 in FBC -- one of which may be the one JR is referring to who's now in the NFL.

We have 2 or 3 in our HS chapter. I haven't worked with any of them.

Sarah Thomas is on the NFL supplemental list and worked pre-season games but she isn't yet a full fledged NFL official.

What little I watched of the Tulsa game, I noticed there was a female but not sure which one she was.

I doubt the replacement official last year, Shannon Easton (?sp), is calling major CFB given what the college officials were told would happen to them if they crossed over.
