Ok, which is right, case book or rules book. I have looked at these books for years, and this is the first time I have noticed this. I know it won't ever determine if this foul is called or not, but this stuff drives me insane!!!

Rules book states that the location of the players involved is the determining factor as to whether the FH is behind, in or beyond NZ.

The Case Book states that the ball location is the determining factor if it was behind, in or beyond NZ.
