Foul an a try
Obviously looking for an NCAA ruling on this
Play. Team A lines up for a two-point try. A7 drops back and throws a pass that is intercepted by B1. B1 begins to return the ball when he A1 inadvertently grasps then immediately removes his hand from B1's facemask. B1 returns the ball to the A's 20 yard line where he is downed. What are the options for Team B? (also posted at mcgriffs) [Edited by mikesears on Jun 4th, 2003 at 02:26 PM]

Don't believe there are any options. By rule the try is over and we go to the kickoff. Since team B didn't score on the return, all live-ball fouls are declined and the try is over. If B had scored on the interception return then they could decline the penalty and take the 2 points as long as there is no penalty on B.
