OT - Those Whacky Announcers Say the Darndest Things……
Kent State vs Penn State. Late in the third quarter, PSU is up 17-0.
Naturally, the booth chatter wanders around to Joe Pa and how long he will continue to coach. As always the conversation gets around to Bobby Bowden and just how involved is Paterno in the daily goings on at State College? Color Man Brian Griese has this to say, “He is as involved in running this team as any 83 year old coach in the country!” Good call sparky!
