Why not find some yellow tape to cover the flag if what color the flag is does not matter? :D

Well I didn't have yellow electrical tape in my garage. I did have black. I'm cheap. ;)

I hear you. I figured black was OK because it is a color found on flags now. Now silver duct tape. Not so much.

It wouldn't surprise me if they made yellow electrical tape but I can't recall seeing it off hand.

Edit: Just searched on Google and they do in fact make it.

If I had tape that matched my flag exactly, I'd use it. Since I don't and black and white are colors on us that I *do* have, I use those.

If my flag was weighted enough without the tape, I'd not bother with the tape at all.

I've reloaded mine with salt water fishing sinkers so I had to tape them back together anyway. The tape cushions them up some with the extra weight I've added.

Originally I just used the white athletic tape that was laying around but since we are going to black pants this season, I decided to gussy one up with black electrical tape.
