The first thing you should do is find out which smalll college conferences exist in your area and who supervises their officials. For example, we have a D3 conference in our area and over half the schools are in-state. That is the good place to start. There is also a D2 school but most of the conference is in Michigan and their supervisor and most officials are in Michigan. This would not be a good route for local officials. Talk to other officials in your area and find out which conference(s) are geared toward local officials. Good luck!
