Talk to HandCheck7, I know he used them last year in football. I wore them last year in baseball and really liked them. I've heard good things about both shoes and basically just flipped a coin and got the Grid Stud.

I just got a pair of the Spotbilt Grid Stud. Tried them on and they feel great.

I'm not sure if Spotbilt is completely shutting down or just their plate shoes line.

I was told by a rep of another company that Spotbuilt was going completely out-of-business, but he might have been trying to persuade me toward his product line.

I thought Spot-Bilt was recently aquired by Saucony.

That's what I heard too. However, I didn't hear if they were going to continue production of all their lines.

I think the guy running Pentagon used to work at Spotbilt. That is why the shoes are similar.

Reebok's

Reebok's with DMX are the best shoe you'll wear IMO. Great in wet weather and on all turf and grass fields. Try them you won't be disappointed.
