I too am a 1st year and looking for some shorts to hide my stripes. I haven't found any compression shorts (white) that are thick enough to hide them. I have a pair I bought previously but they're not thick enough and all the ones I can find seem to be the same thickness.
Any suggestions on brand that might be thicker or do you just wear the compression shorts and figure that is good enough and if the stripes show through it won't be that much? I thought the black shorts would show and you didn't want that. Thoughts? Thanks. |

I have worn Bike CPS compression shorts since my college days. These are thick and snug but not hot. They cover stripes easily. I have found that they are not very low-rise though and have to roll the waist down twice otherwise they might cover some of my ribs. I have two pair, one for varsity and one for sub-varsity.

That is why I prefer black.

If so, that seems not a very good altenative, IMO. |

I think he was saying with the knickers he wears (Honig's Elite-P22s) the black compression shorts bleeding through the knickers isn't an issue.

I tried my gear on last night. I was wearing the white McDavid compression shorts and Honig's Elite Knickers and didn't have any issues with the stripes bleeding through. Looking forward to the fastly approaching upcoming season!

Get a cooler. How else will you keep the beer cold?
