That would mean the champ game crew is coming from the Big 12 conference this year.

What game is the Big Ten working and who is the R assigned to work?

I am assuming Witvoet is working the Cotton Bowl when you metioned Texas or is he working the Sugar Bowl?

Either way, that is cool that the Big Ten is getting good and quality representation in the Bowl games this year.

Any idea who the R is? Jack Childress?

My friend, that I wrote of earlier this year that worked the FSU at BC game, was the white hat for the Motor City Bowl last night.

Your friend looks very young, must be doing something right to be a "R" in a bowl game at that age! Congrats to him.

I thought the crew for the Motor City Bowl did an outstanding job and what a wild game it was.

Ron Cherry has the Cotton Bowl.

Childress does not have a bowl this year

Not even 40 and doing an excellent job. Only his third year in D1. I'll pass along the congrats.

That makes sense. I had forgotten that Childress worked the ACC Championship game.

Did any other ACC crews get bowl games?
