Mouthguard (s)

Several warnings/friendly reminders about buckling chin straps and getting mouthguerds in.
Then in the 3rd quarter a flag thrown and play stopped because a defensive player had his mouthguard hanging from his facemask. Upon closer inspection he had a black mouthguard in his mouth and an orange one dangling from his facemask. When asked why, he said he couldn't get the dangling mouthguard off before the play started. Makes me laugh at how these kids find new and innovative ways to get attention or make a fashion statements.

We picked up the flag and continued, but was good for a laugh afterwards

Had the same situation once. The kid was kicking off and had a mouth piece dangling . When the flag was thrown before the play we found out he had one on and was using another players helmet while his was being repaired. Had to pick that one up also.
