Free Kick Zone
I may be mixing NCAA rules with Federation rules.
Situation: On the a kickoff "r" only has two players in the free kick zone between the 50 and 45 yard lines. Three players were on the 43 or 44 yard line. The linesman flagged them for not having five players in the zone. What stuck in my mind was that the rule was changed to no requirement to have any players in the zone. (I have been retired for three years and was pressed into action at the last minute.) Am I correct or is this only an NCAA rule? |
