Fed Rules: The free blocking zone disappears once the ball leaves the zone. What about the situation where team A is in shotgun formation. The QB receives the snap 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Since the ball is out of the free blocking zone, is the free blocking gone for the remainder of the play? Or does the free blocking zone come back once the football returns to the free blocking zone.

Once the ball leaves the zone, the zone disintegrates and does not come back.
