The umpire on my varsity crew told us that he had one in a JV game a couple weeks ago. The coach had told the crew prior to the game that if he had the chance, he was going to try it. Sure enough, about 10 seconds left in the first half, had a punt and a fair catch around K's 40. R decided to free kick, and they nailed it.
