If you started your season this weekend......

It was my first game "under the bright lights". I worked as LJ in the Plaquemines Parish Jamboree. We had three games and two crews, so our crew worked the first game and the first half of the second game.

Of course I was nervous since I'd never worked varsity before - and what do you know, the game was tied at six with four seconds left and it was second and goal from the four yard line. QB rolled out to the right looking to pass - he eventually tucked the ball and started to run. There were two defenders between him and the goal line and I really didn't think he would make it. He ran past/through one defender and the other defender hit him and knocked him out right at the pileon (sp?). Being that I had to evade players, there was a delay before I could give my signal which made it out to be dramatic.

I got to my spot and threw my hands up in the air - TOUCHDOWN!! Final score 12-6. What an indoctrination! Gotta love High School football.
