How would you guys handle this situation:
While going off the field at halftime intermission the head coach approaches you with a video replay and expresses his displeasure with a play that he thought there should have been a penalty called while playing the video and holding it up near you.

No replay is allowed in NFHS football, so this would be unsportsmanlike conduct against the head coach (or in NCAA, outside of the normal instant replay process, for that matter). Because this situation is between periods, it is assessed on the kickoff to start the 2nd half.

Not necessarily, the official should tell the coach that video can not be used for reviewing plays. If the coach acts in an unsportsman like manner then flag him for his actions. But merely trying to show you the video is not in itself unsportsman like.

I tend to agree with explaining to the coach that video is not allowed and give him the opportunity to walk away. If he persists then light him up.

Instant replay not being allowed isn't really relevant to this situation. This falls under a different rule.

We've had this a couple of times this season.

It's easy to let them know that we're simply not allowed to look at the film, but they can send it to us after the game if they want us to look at it (that's common here for us to get films from the teams).

I'm only considering UNS if they persist in an UNS manner.

Just about ANY comment, question, observation made by a Coach to an official, about the game, during any part of the game is dependent on how it is presented. Interactions presented civilly, respectfully, appropriately deserve a response in kind.

Should such an interaction be uncivil, disrespectful, inappropriate the response, exclusively in the judgment of the approached official, may involve a reaction producing consequences, ranging anywhere from simply ignoring, admonishing, penalizing as UNC, or if deemed flagrant immediate disqualification.

Like "Beauty", any consequence selected is "in the eye of the beholder".
