A look inside the life of an NBA referee.

I came across a documentary that focuses on how the NBA made the transition into hiring female referees and how much fire the women went through when starting out. This documentary follows NBA referee Violet Palmer as she goes about her career. It also features interviews with veterans Joey Crawford, Tom Washington, Monty McCutchen, and Don Vaden.

I like this video more than others because it doesn't focus on calls or gameplay.. But focuses on how women can get involved in officiating and the inside life of an NBA referee on the road.

I strongly recommend taking a look at this video if you are interested in NBA officials and officiating.
