Gene Seratore Conferences?

Had on Indiana/Purdue and at the bottom of the screen they listed officials and Gene Seratore was one. I was just wondering what leagues besides the Big 10 he works for his winter officiating gig.

I was just curious because I happened to see his name as one of the officials and knowing he was an NFL official also got my attention.

When a player entered the FT lane too early on a free throw, I saw him call offsides.

Steratore primarily works Big 10. In fact he had the most Big 10 conference games last year, more than big dawgs like Boroski, Sanzere, and Wymer.

He's leading the conference this year, too, with 18 so far.

Simpson, Wymer, and Mike Eades have worked 16.

Surprises? Sanzere has only worked 7 this season. John Higgins has worked 6 -- I'd like to see him more, but I know he works other big conferences.

National leader right now is David Hall with 80 worked. 12 officials have worked 70 or more games, 39 have worked 60 or more, 74 have worked 50 or more, and the #100 official has worked 40 games.

Gene

Gene is a great guy, he really helped me when I was a young official. At the time he was officiating NIAA games and I was an assistant coach at a college he officiated. He would talk to me about my games give me ideas of things to work on and even break down some film. He was a great help and always took time to pass his knowledge on to other officials.
