T on Player on Bench
Player checks out of the game. Sits down on the bench and utters a comment to the official which results in a T. Indirect to the coach because it is bench personnel but if you know specifically which player said it, does it count against his total of 5 as well?

It counts "first" toward the team member and THEN it's an indirect to the coach because the team member was bench personnel. |

Vast majority of the time, I agree. In the rare case where the bench is the only group of people present (some gyms have no spectators behind the bench, or even on that side of the gym), I think you could if you needed to.
