This winter has SUCKED. I might think long and hard about moving south if the opportunity ever presented itself.

It cuts both ways. I wasn't available to do a game tonight, and quite a few got postponed due to today's storm. So, I got a postponed assignment that I wasn't otherwise available to work.

I've lost three game dates to weather so far. however, I picked up a game on Friday and a couple of more for the last week of the regular season, so it more or less balanced out for now.

Doesn't it usually all turn out pretty much even in the end?

I'm a "Plus 1" for this stormy week.

Eleven days until pitchers, and catchers. Four weeks until the Daylight Saving Time. Six more weeks until spring.

Our Assignor has really had to scramble, but I've broken even.

We had an extra, added twist as during the freezing temps a water pipe burst in a school and flooded the gym. All the F, JV, and V games for the remainder of the B/G season have been moved to other gyms. Every game is an away game and Senior Night just won't be the same.......

I live about as far south as you can get and have lost 6 games this winter...last 3 years I called in about as far north as you can go and lost 2 games in 3 years.

I was thinking further south than Dallas, but I would take my chances in Dallas in the vast majority of winters.
