Is this taunting?

Point guard being guarded man to man. He jabs steps and "break the ankles" of the defender causing him to fall. As the defense is laying on the ground the point guard does not go around him but instead continues dribbling, stares at the defender and loudly laughs at him. T for taunting or ?

Do not trouble trouble.

Unless the PG says something, please do not call anything. And even then it better be egregious.

Peace

By itself, nothing.

If there's been some trouble brewing between these two earlier in the game... maybe.

I might have a talk with him (at most), unless I've already had a talk with him.
It also depends on the nature of the laughter. IOW, I'd have to see it and hear it before I'd justify going further than a blank stare.

That crosses into taunting for me.

Agreed. I wouldn't have any trouble justifying this T.

It was a summer league game and we didn't call anything. I was lead and it didn't catch my attention until I heard the loud laughing, looked up and seen the other player on the floor with him looking down on him. I heard the whole story from my partner later. He said it caught him off guard as it isn't something you see everyday. I would have regretted the fact that we didn't call anything more except I heard the chewing he got when he was subbed out for on the next dead ball.

Rabbit Eyes ...

Keep an eye on those two. Maybe a little, "Hey, no need for that", will keep things from escalating.

Absolutely. I would hope the coach would take him out as well.
