And I'd bet my house that at least one player, fan, coach, or television viewer, yelled, "And one", at some point during the game.

Bonus fact: Game 1 was the first Finals game in 10 years that had zero three (or four)-point plays where the shooter was fouled and still made the shot. The last time there were zero in a game was in the 2003 Finals, game 2. Source.

Bonus fact 2: Joey Crawford was on the court the only 2 times LBJ has fouled of a playoff game, and he also tossed Tim Duncan for laughing at him. Was suspended the rest of the year for not being professional, when he tossed Duncan.

Oooh, Javie just threw Joey Crawford under the bus on a B/C call....

(for the record, I agree with Javie :D)

Joey has not had a great game. However, I liked that call. I thought LeBron had started his upward motion with the ball before Green had established legal guarding position.

Thought it was interesting that Kurt Rambis said this afternoon that this was a very "quiet" crew. The regular fan wouldn't realize they were there....thought he was taking a shot at Joey and maybe Foster, whom I'm sure will be the CC in game 4....

I don't know, Scott's really busy with his girl's AAU team, does he have time to make it San Antonio?

He might if he doesn't slow the game down with any unnecessary game interrupting technical fouls.

More reason not to pay any attention to commentators that know little to nothing about officiating. Mark Davis was involved in ejecting Rondo from a playoff game a season ago. And this series is not as contentious or has the same dead ball challenges. This is why commentators need to stay in their lane. Players dictate how they react to things, not necessarily the officials.

Peace

Didn't think this deserved its own thread, so I'll put this here.

Personally, I think the officiating has been very good. There will always be calls to discuss but for the most part, these guys have stayed out of the way. They're letting them play. Technical fouls have been non-existent.

BTW, great wave off on Bosh's dunk at the end of the 1st half.

What made the wave-off 'great'??

I was thinking much the same thing; the officiating's been top-notch - consistent and sharp. Therefore bench and player decorum has been a non-issue.
