This is true. When I was a kid, I didn't live very far from Dick Butkus. He used to tool around the neighborhood on a Harley. Man - talk about intimidating!

When I was in high school,we went down to the Cleveland Browns training camp. I asked Jim Brown for his autograph. He told me to "f**k off"! I did! Quickly!

Still the greatest running back I've ever seen,though. Gale Sayers was second.
