Contact with the official...

How would you handle this situation?

I just have 3 years experience. I was ok with it until the took two hands and swiped my hands. Even if he is showing me he needs to ask for permission to get rough.

I would give a T for the last little display. I would not think much of it. We would get in trouble if we contacted a player like that, so why is it OK for them?

Peace

Quite honestly don't know how I'd respond. A lot would depend on the game and the player in question. If the player had been complaining prior to that, or I felt they were trying to make a scene and show me up, then I would have a T. If I felt that they were genuinely trying to explain to me something and it was not done in a threatening way -- basically if in that moment I didn't feel it deserved a technical-- I might simply say "you need to keep your hands to yourself ... I'll continue to watch for any fouls".
