Back to HS basketball

Changed the channel to a game between Findlay Prep vs. St. Benedicts(semi-final game I believe). Did anyone see the grey haired gentleman's antics all game long? As well as his inability to keep up with the speed of game!

He obviously just watched Ted Valentine work a tourney game and figured he would emulate all of TV's moves with his own touch of flair. All of that happening while being six steps behind most game.

I guess I am just curious how he could be assigned to such a high profile game. There must be a handful of guys in that metro area more qualified right?

As someone once said regarding high profile HS assignments, "I can't believe how ungood a person can be and still..."
Guess it all has to do with those selecting and assigning, eh?

Well, did he miss any obvious calls, or did he call a good game (even if he was a little short of being mechanically sound)?
