The foul at 1:40 in the 2nd half. Michigan player trapped at 1/2 court. Carter-Williams gets charged with a blocking foul.

Perhaps he felt the defender was stepping in at the time of contact and the "chick wing" came second. It was close, but I could see that being the reason for the call.
