I would have called it a FF2. (I'm a Michigan fan). I think the officials had to be debating the FF1 or FF2 on the play. It sure looked intentional on the play. It's one of those I could see the NCAA reviewing had Kansas won the game, and possibly issuing a penalty after the fact.
I know the Big Ten has been known to do that in regular season games even when the officials don't make a call on the play. |
