P.S. I know that as a Moderator I should discourage this type of harmless posting in the Basketball Forum, but I find it a harmless diversion as we transition from Winter sports to Spring and Summer sports. Go KU!! Rock Chalk JayHawk. Kaaaaay Uuuuuu!

Not so sure this is a harmless diversion. It does make a decent point that is relevant to officiating.....that if you're too focused on one thing, you can miss something that should be obvious. It has happened to me.

I missed the bear and I have taken these type of test before. I think it is easy to miss when they tell you what to look for. It is certainly relevant to officiating as your focus can be narrow and miss what is happening elsewhere.
