Why would any of us care who is on the media side calling the game? You are just giving me one more reason not to watch the women's tournament.

Who said anything about young? At my age, they just have to be breathing, and I refuse to back off, or compromise, in any way, shape, or form, on that characteristic. Not breathing would definitely be a deal breaker.

BM - You did a pretty a good job of posting this winter about basketball plays....however it is obvious you are in mid season form regarding your attempts at stand up comedy....

Is it possible that you could come up with another screen name when you are
attempting to humor us, so when we saw that name we could just avoid the post ????

I hate the end of my basketball officiating season. Hopefully, in a few weeks, many of our Forum members will be posting about AAU games. I don't work a lot of AAU, only those assigned by my local IAABO board, and we've priced ourselves out of the market, so I look forward to threads started by others.

I would ask the same question about why we post the names of the officials for all the games, yet....

Well this is an officiating site, not a broadcast major site. I would expect we would actually talk about officials.

I am going to throw things at the TV no matter who is calling the game as almost none of them know any rules.

It's possible that some find it just as interesting because of their various levels of ignorance. I find each equally boring, but I just don't comment on either any more. I wouldn't want to hurt feelings by posting the appropriate pictures.

Just a way for officials to find out which officials are working without having to scour through each box score. Sometimes we might see a colleague's name.
