No longer the "best" in the country cause they don't allow basketball factories (prep schools), but from mid 70's for about 15 years nothing could touch this event.....

Been lucky to be a zebra 4 different times for it.......

Nice "gentlemen's " club across the river in W. Va. However no hand checkin allowed !!!!!
How many times has Al Battista worked it?

I don't know, but he came to our board and talked about the new rules and how to apply the rules and he was EXCELLENT. The best I have ever heard.

I could just imagine him in the club telling the dancers when to have their weight forward and when to have their weight back. And telling the customers to use the top of their eyes to view the ladies' uptown assets and the bottom of their eyes to view what's going on south of the border.

BNR -

Obviously you have had the pleasure of hearing Battista speak....let's take it one step further he would tell you to move your feet so you could get an open look....let you feet follow your eyes....in the C you need to get topside

You could tell the employees that they need to distribute double
whistles...the list is endless !!!!!

While I never committed an "over the back" foul, it is rumored that one year
someone committed a flagrant 2 for inappropiate touching....

Hey Terrapin fan keep us posted on the games ....

Last game of the night was great. Down to the buzzer and a last second shot.

DeMatha played the #11 team in the nation La Lumiere. La Lumiere was up by 11 at the half, by as many as 13, but DeMatha would not go away. With about 3 minutes to go they take the lead, go up by as many as 5 points after 2 "T"s. ( 50-45 ) 28 seconds left,

LaLumiere makes a stop and scores, down 3. 5 second call on DeMatha ( not getting the ball in ) Foul on DeMatha, La Lumiere down 1 point with 8 seconds left. Turn over DeMatha, Foul DeMatha. La Lumiere goes up 1 point 51-50 4.3 seconds left.

DeMatha in bounds gets to front court and calls a Time Out. 2.1 seconds left. After the TO, turn the ball over on a lob to the basket. LaLumiere gets the ball, in bounds loses it, DeMatha launches a 3 point shot that rims out.

Game over. Amazing.
