Well here there are leagues where current and former NBA players play with a lot of current college players at all levels. And being in Chicago with many current and former NBA players from this town, those leagues at one time were rather legendary. MJ played in a league at one time. I do not officiate any of this at all, but these Pro-Am leagues here are a little more than Men's Leagues at the local YMCA.

Peace

I found the secret. I find out when the season starts or a weekend tournament is being assigned. I ask the assignor for the older kids and grab a partner I enjoy working with. We work on our game and help each other get better and dont have to worry about a green partner. It makes for good money and a fun time knowing you have someone you like to work with. Its my suggestion to make Rec ball a good productive experience.

Oh, that's a given when I do these. I never do them unless I can pick my partner and then I take someone who I won't have to cover for/deal with for 4+ hours.
