Incorrect.
If the player's team has control when the player goes down, kill the play immediately. If there's a fast break going to other way, hold the whistle until the opponent pulls up and is no longer advancing the ball or takes a shot. Then, kill the play. It's a good idea for the trail official to stop and stay with the player who is down. This tells everyone, "I see her, I'm not going to let anything happen to her."
