He did have LGP at the start of the play but he was beat on the first dribble and lost LGP at that point. He was running beside the opponent most of the play trying to catch up. He needed to get into a guarding position again (in the path) and then get two feet down to obtain LGP again. He didn't do that so he didn't have LGP when it mattered.
