Throw-in Spot
Had a play in a Boy's Varsity game that I would like to get some clarification on. A1 is driving to the basket and is intentionally fouled by B1. After the foul B2 receives a Technical foul. We shoot the free throws in order of occurrence. I point to the division line for Team A's throw in. The crew chief, and a veteran in our association, tells me the throw in is at the Point of Interruption and the intentional foul spot overrules the Technical Foul. Couldn't find it in the rulebook and have never heard of it. Is this correct?

You won't find that language in a college rule book either.

You won't find that language, but isn't that the proper enforcement in NCAA? Shoot the T, shoot the IP, resume at the spot closest to the IP foul?

But if an official used the language I bolded I doubt he was ruling it based on actual NCAA rules knowledge, sounds more like someone who just doesn't know the proper NFHS rule.
