Question Pentagon Patent Leather Referee Shoes

My first question is sizing. I wear US8.5 in New Balance and need your help in finding the right size for me in Pentagon patent leather ref shoes (I'm an overseas buyer so no chance to try it on...). Some sites say that Pentagon runs half size smaller than others.

Second question: How good are they..? Let's say, compared with NB888 and NB623 patent.

Thank you

I HATE this shoe! I wore them for 2 seasons and they are horribly uncomfortable especially if you work more than one game a night.

I just switched to the Reebok Zig Energy Ref and I love 'em. However, order a 1/2 size bigger as these shoes run small.

All feet are different, you cannot possibly ask someone and expect an intelligent response to "are they comfortable". There is a reason they make multiple kinds of running shoes.

That said, I have never tried pentagon shoes.

Luis, you would be much happier if you spent the extra money and purchased the Reebok Zigs. I guarantee you will not regret it.

Thanks man. I wear a US8.5 in New Balance BB888BP/MX623/622. I wonder what size should I pick the Zigs? I used to wear a US8 in a pair of The Ref patent leather.

Obviously, trying a shoe on before you buy it is best.

However, knowing that is not always possible in our "interweb" world, many of us have gone with a 1/2 size larger with the Zigs and been happy with them.

I have typically worn a 12.5 or 13. With the Zigs, I got 13s and they fit perfectly.
